Our Church
Our church which is affiliated with Connextions International is situated in a small country town called Woodenbong in northern NSW.
We began in 1998 with a small group of people meeting in a local hall.
In 1999 an old store building became available which we refurbished and rented, we continued our church there for a further two years.
A Word from the Lord to leave the building opened a door for us to purchase a larger building with the grateful thanks of a donor who supplied the finance to purchase. After six months working on the building we were ready to open.
The work grew to be able to provide a Thrift Shop for the local town and surrounding communities. Provision for the extension of the building to do this was by a Government Grant from DOTARS.
The shop allows us to support under privileged and needy people with clothing, food parcels and monetary support where needed.
Our aim now is to establish a Crisis Respite Centre to try to prevent the abuse and neglect of babies and children.
